JG Photography Southend is retired entertainment writer and keen amateur photographer John Giles.
John is well known in Southend-on-Sea for his writing and reviewing of theatre and the arts in both national and local publications and though now retired still covers the three theatres in the town for trade entertainment magazine Encore.
He also contributes to local provincial newspapers and over his 40 years in the newspaper industry has interviewed entertainment personalities as well known as Paul McCartney plus hundreds of other top stage and screen stars. He has made a number of appearances on both radio and television.
John has been a member of Leigh Camera Club for more than 20 years and is their publicity officer He is also Press officer for Southend Arts Council and his pictures appear on the web sites of both these organisations.
John now works mostly in digital both for creating the images and processing. All his pictures on this web site are fully copyright to him and can only be reproduced with his permission.
